Bubbles. We are in the market now for one if anyone knows where they can be found. Ya know, the kind that John Travolta was in for that 80’s movie, “The boy in the bubble”. We need one that travels easily and that will fit in most cars. Preferably clear. I don’t know about you but I would hate walking around in a red bubble thinking the world was a light shade of pink. It might make him a little angry and we do NOT need any help in this direction, he is 2.
For a kid that rarely doesn’t have a smile, you would NEVER guess that this boy is sick ALL THE TIME. He definitely has made us earn the right to be called parents. That or he just loooooves his doctor so much he is creating more and more inventive reasons to go see her.
Typhoid Larry, I mean Hunter, is on the mend though now. After a week of a word that I never want to hear again, “adenovirus “ causing utter chaos on his little body, he is recovering from pneumonia, double ear infections, and viral arthritis. These things were all at once and out of now where. (Again, anyone know where we can find those bubbles?)
We are on a first name basis now with the staff in the emergency room of Children’s hospital. They will be added to the Christmas card list. (I know you would laugh right now if you knew that I forget my own sister’s birthday…let alone get cards out for Christmas..hahaha, phew that’s a knee slapper.) In any case, we’ll say they are on it.
He started back to school this week. No outdoor activities yet. Doc said it would be 2 to 4 weeks before he is fully recovered from this. So until then, it’s just us, typhoid larry, and a little thing called cabin fever. I am devouring any and all toddler craft websites finding things for us to do besides go mad. His masterpiece is below and now framed in the toy room... LOVE our little van gogh...aka typhoid larry.
