Well lots has happened... The hubby and I had our 9 year anniversary this month. No No not nine years dating......9 YEARS MARRIED!!!! WOOOO HOOOOO! buuuuut a seperate blog on that to follow later. good (and hilarious) things come to those who wait....or something like that.
Our bundle of joy... in a bubble....also got sick again and now we are working with a pulmonologist to get his breathing under control. So far so good and we also found out that he has NO ALLERGIES, can you believe that?! just a low immune system (ha, JUST) that hopefully he will grow out of.
For those that haven't met him, you might be thinking "poor sick baby!!" weeeelllll yes and NO. For those that have met him you know the truth :). He is as active and vibrant as any other kiddo his age....THATS what makes him so dangerous. YOU NEVER KNOW WHEN THE BOY IS SICK UNTIL ITS TIME TO CHECK INTO THE HOSPITAL. But mom and dad are troopers and hanging in....i believe we have given ourselves a military name....Troop Stinson...but there WILL BE no dropping to do 40 around here unless its something like 40 ways to eat chocolate! :)
How active you ask? Well, he plays soccer, lacrosse, basketball, volleyball, etc all at school. HAHA noooo not on individual teams,...and i might add ARE U NUTS!!.... but its a program called amazing athletes. Each week they practice a different set of skill sets for each sport so the kiddos have a chance to develop and practice them all. He seems to love it and we love when we play at home that we can switch it around and he knows exactly how to play everything we do. We can no longer do baseball or soccer in the house.....uuummm lets just say his aim and power have improved. :)
Its not all sports activities either. He does some pretty amazing art, or his mommy sure thinks so, at school. Each month they focus on a different artist. Last month was Monet, this month Picasso. Now its not the boring kind of study that he will inevitably have to do later but the more fun kind suited to a 3 year but he knows them all whenever we ask so HOWEVER they have taught our child about these artists suits me.
I would definitely say that he gets his athletic ability from daddy and any art/music ability from mommy. (Note: singing is not included in music ability. When i say music please insert instruments into your mind.... not singing...and if you have trouble remembering this then remind me the day before your birthday... for those that know me know why i say the day before....and i will call and serenade you on your big day. For liability purposes i ask that you not be near glass. :)
ok, so being THAT kind of mom, ....i will think of a sarcastic clever name for it later, for now, THAT will suffice,.....I keep all of his art. It started stacking up so much that i have begun framing it.
This is from his Cinco De Mayo Parade.. he actually wore all this!!
How cute is he!!
and these are the flags they make when they study a different country.... this is frame one. I am already collecting for another one of these bad boys...the school even has International Day where each kid has a passport that we go to different booths about different places and get a stamp in his passport....i mean really?! i couldn't have even thought that one up!
and this one is my FAVORITE!!! I just love how sweet it looks...ya know...besides the godzilla fish getting ready to eat the small sailboat.... hee hee
I'm still working on some but I hang these in his room and toy room. That way he can see his art and we can watch it develop as he grows. That way mommy has a little piece of him at this age for years to come.....
I think Picasso would proud. :)
Sending ya'll all our love from Texas!!
